Passkey Switch

Microsoft stops sending texted sign-in codes for Microsoft 365 work accounts on 1 February 2027 (Global Administrators: 1 July 2027).

If anyone at your firm signs in only with a texted or phoned code, Microsoft's own page says that after their retirement date they are asked to register a passkey at sign-in, and the prompt blocks them until they do. We write your whole switch, by email, for US$249, nothing added.
